Repair Terms and Conditions - uBreakiFix Australian Retail Repairs These are the Terms & Conditions governing the repair of your product by uBreakiFix PTY Limited ABN 2716 7578 896

uBreakiFix will repair your device as agreed upon with you.

It is important to ensure that you back up and/or remove data from your device as appropriate. uBreakiFix cannot guarantee or warranty that it will be able to repair your device without any loss of programs or data, or that it will be able to maintain the confidentiality of any data on your device. In the event of accidental data loss or damage to your system, or damage or data loss caused by existing problems such as viruses, misconfigured software, jailbreak, or hardware issues, you agree to hold uBreakiFix and all individuals involved in the repair harmless from any claims, liabilities, or losses. If a device is damaged or lost while in uBreakiFix's custody, uBreakiFix's liability will be limited to the cost of repairing the affected device or providing a replacement.

Unless your device is repaired under warranty, full payment of the amount invoiced is due upon the completion of repairs.

Payment must be made before your device is returned to you. Unless otherwise specified, the amount invoiced includes charges for all parts and labour.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, uBreakiFix is not liable for any special, indirect, incidental or consequential damages resulting from the performance of any repair services. uBreakiFix's maximum liability for any and all damages shall not, in any event, exceed the payments received by uBreakiFix for services provided pursuant to these terms and conditions.

Pre-testing before repair: If your device is in a condition that prevents us from conducting thorough investigation and testing, our responsibility is limited to providing the requested repairs. uBreakiFix is not liable for any pre-existing issues other than the agreed-upon repairs.

Please note that if you bring a water-damaged device that is currently working for diagnostics assessment, there is a possibility that the device may no longer function after the diagnostics are complete, due to the extent of the liquid damage. Additionally, please be aware that uBreakiFix is not responsible for any data regardless of the outcome of the diagnostics. uBreakiFix does not take any responsibility for any device that is not tested in-store before the repair, due to reasons including but not limited to lack of power or the device being untestable. Furthermore, please note that there is no guarantee that all functions on the device

Collection the device Prior to the repair process, the customer must check the device in-store. If any issues are identified with the device, it must be reported to the store staff. If there is any problem with the repair performed, uBreakiFix will rectify the issue and make it right.

In the event that the device does not function as expected after the repair, uBreakiFix will take the necessary steps to resolve the situation. If the device has been pre-tested before the repair process, it ensures that the device is functioning correctly, and any deviations from expected performance will be addressed by uBreakiFix.

You must pay the full amount invoiced in respect of repairs carried out on your device and collect your device from uBreakiFix within 5 Business days of being notified that your device has been repaired and is ready for collection.

Regardless of the device's condition, if it is not collected within 90 days, it will be automatically recycled.

uBreakiFix guarantees to restore the water resistance seal for any supported models. However, please note that restoring the water resistance seal cannot guarantee that your device's water resistance rating will be fully restored. Additionally, liquid damage for these devices is not covered under warranty, as per the manufacturer's terms and conditions after repairs.

If applicable law requires uBreakiFix to return a replaced part to you, you agree to pay uBreakiFix the additional cost of the replacement item as per the requirements of the law. Please note that the request for the old part must be made before the repair process begins, as it cannot be accommodated after the repair is completed. After the repair of your device with uBreakiFix, you may see a third-party repair notification on your device, indicating that it has been serviced by a uBreakiFix third-party repair center.

Cancellation the service Regardless of the reason for job cancellation by the customer, a service fee of $45 per hour, as calculated by uBreakiFix, is applicable.

WARRANTY This statement indicates that uBreakiFix offers a warranty for repairs, regardless of the brand or type of device being serviced. Accidental damage is not covered under the uBreakiFix Limited Warranty. Warranty claims for the following damages are not eligible: Cracked or shattered glass. Liqued or water damage. Display damages such as a blank screen, discoloration, flashing lights, grey lines, or neon lines due to liquid damage. Device fix it data purpose backup only. Data Recovery: We will do our best to ensure that we can recover those important files for you. However, we cannot guarantee the recovery of your data. While your device may still be partially functional prior to repairs, we cannot guarantee that it will continue to function after repairs due to internal water damage.

Extended warranty. The standard warranty terms and conditions apply to the Extended Warranty. Please note that the Extended Warranty is limited to the length of the warranty term and does not offer any exclusive benefits. It specifically covers original replacement components and does not extend coverage to any other components or the entire device. The term of your Extended Warranty is outlined in your purchase invoice. The term options available are 12 or 24, months

uBreakiFix offers a complimentary 50% discount to customers who have purchased the extended warranty for eligible repairs. This discount is applicable to the original repair price and can be used once.

I acknowledge being informed about the characteristics of a generic screen replacement, which may include variations in glass strength, potential differences in screen quality, and variances in color display and battery usage.

I understand that the UBREAKIFIX warranty does not cover defects resulting from customer actions, such as mishandling, physical damage, water damage, improper interfacing, operation beyond design limits, repairs by someone other than UBREAKIFIX, use of products other than UBREAKIFIX products, or unauthorized modification. This warranty becomes void if the unit shows evidence of misuse or mishandling, including a broken seal.

I acknowledge that I have read and understood the Repair Terms and Conditions mentioned above, and I agree that they apply to the service of the identified product. I am aware that uBreakiFix is not responsible for any loss, corruption, or breach of data during the service. It is my responsibility to back up my data before bringing my device to uBreakiFix for service, as data loss may occur during the repair process.
