IF NOT ORIGINAL , ITS NOT FIXED.
Everyday customers come to our store telling us that they had their iPad screen replaced elsewhere, and they really weren’t happy with the quality. We’re not surprised.
We’re sure that had they been properly informed about the differences, they would have chosen original parts in the first place
If you are looking for a cheap fix, you will end up fixing two times
We are receiving customers recently who are fixing their already repaired iPad as they are not happy with the quality of their screen. They return to uBreakiFix to fix their iPad screens properly to get it back working the way it should.
Most Common Problem with Aftermarket screens.
- Poor brightness
- Thickness
- Weight
- Contrast and vividness
- High battery usage
- Low image refresh rate
- Touch sensitivity
- Easier to break
When you’ve spent- directly or indirectly- several hundred dollars for an iPad with a Retina or OLED display, it doesn’t make sense to replace it with a lower-quality screen that can make a $1000 tablet look like a $100 one! Not only that, but you’re likely to have fewer issues, and a longer-lasting screen.
While the difference in price between copies and originals can vary across devices, it’s generally around $50 – $90 extra to have an original screen fitted. This really isn’t a lot considering the improved quality and reliability.
We compare our prices with others and with our competitor, Apple - and we know that we come out of it favourably. While we have to offer copy screens to remain competitive, we always advise customers to go for the original.
Colours & Resolution
The colours on the original iPad screens are more vivid and in the side industry it comes out faded. You can especially see the difference when you look at both parts, side by side.
Original screens have higher resolutions. If you don't see a difference at first glance, the details will be clear. In addition, brightness rates make a significant difference, especially under the sun.
Touch & Durability
Touch quality will reflect the difference, especially when you use it in series. Touch on the sub-industry screens may malfunction sooner.
The original iPad screens come with a much 8 times more durable, reinforced glass. The glass used in aftermarket screens can be more easily broken.
Battery life
Original screens are specifically designed to consume less battery power. Inexpensive aftermarket displays consume 20% more battery power and cause the phone to heat up and shorten battery life.
